MDS assessment submission
SIMPLEMDS helps long-term care organizations reduce frustration and dramatically improve the productivity of MDS nurses and others responsible for submitting MDS assessments to CMS. These valuable individuals can now spend more time delivering care and less time in front of the computer. SimpleMDS eliminates time spent waiting to use dedicated MDS computers, waiting to connect or reconnect, monitoring and resubmitting batches, and waiting for reports.
Our customers continue to use their clinical software to generate MDS assessments, and when they are ready to submit these assessments to CMS, customers simply login to the SIMPLEMDS website. They upload a batch or multiple batches of assessments, and with a click of a button the batches are submitted. SimpleMDS manages the submission process, resubmits batches automatically when necessary, and retrieves the Initial Feedback Report and the Final Verification Report. The reports are stored and available for review at your convenience on the SIMPLEMDS website.
MDS report management and distribution
Default days, missed resubmission deadlines, incorrect form type submission, and inaccurate MDS scoring all negatively affect revenue. SimpleMDS provides decision makers at the corporate, regional, and facility level with the information they need to proactively impact revenue performance. Submission Reports, Provider Reports, and QI/QM reports are automatically retrieved, archived, and managed by SIMPLEMDS.
The organization of the SIMPLEMDS website allows decision makers and other authenticated users to login and easily find the reports they need. Rejected batches, batches with errors, and duplicate batches are color coded and can be easily identified at a glance. CASPER Reports can be viewed or printed with the click of a button. Specific QI/QM and Provider Reports can be searched using various filters including: Report Dates, Report Types, Report Titles, and Facility Name.
SIMPLEMDS is the Internet alternative, eliminating the need for outdated modem and dialer technology. Each user has a unique login, and password. Security settings allow single facility users access only to the appropriate facility, while multi-facility users can access all facilities they manage in a single website. You no longer have to be physically at a facility to access reports and information. This also eliminates the need to distribute reports through the mail, via email, and by fax.
